How this Entrepreneur Raised $11 Million for His Project
Chris reveals his strategy for successfully pitching investors
Chris Salter is founder and CEO of the Music Wizard Group, a software company that creates, develops, and produces music video games that use real music on real instruments.
Chris had no formal music training before college, but he earned double undergraduate degrees in music and linguistics.
From that he created Piano Wizard, now a full-blown music-education-in-a-box product known as Piano Wizard Academy.
He built a network of investors, consultants, and strategic partners to bring the project to realization and he is now working on a Kickstarter campaign to help bring out the next generation of products.
In this interview we discuss how he raised capital — how he developed an effective 5-minute pitch that he could giver anytime anywhere to introduce his project to investors and others, qualify their interest, and ask them for the money.
